Important Information for Teams Competing in Houston

In order to have a smooth event in Houston this weekend, we have compiled some basic information to help you and your team. If you have a question that you don’t see answered here please call our office toll free at (888) 834-4774.

Event will be held in Parking Lot Yellow

1) Playing days and times

Semi Pro, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 will play 8 preliminary games throughout Friday and Saturday.

5-man Division 3 and Division 4 will play 7 Preliminary Games held on one day, either Friday or Saturday.

Pro Teams play 8 preliminary games on Saturday.

Pump Division play all games on Sunday.

All Quarter, Semi and Final matches will be held on Sunday.

First game each day starts at:
Friday, Sept. 19th - 7:30 am
Saturday, Sept 20th - 7:30 am
Sunday, Sept 21st - 7:30 am

2) Captains Meeting
All teams must send a representative to the captains meeting
Semi Pro, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 Captains meeting is at 5:00 pm Thursday in the Center Court Grandstands.
Professional Captains Meeting will be held at 3:00 pm Friday in the Pro Zone.

5-man Division 3 and 5-man Division 4 Captains meeting is at 7:00 am Saturday at the Eclipse Field.

Pump Division Captains Meeting will be held 9:00 am Sunday at the NPPL Registration Tent.

3) Early Registration off-site/Registration on-site

All teams need to check in at the registration booth prior to playing your first game. We have the following registration options for your convenience:

Wednesday, Sept. 17th: 12 pm – 7:00 pm

Thursday, Sept. 18th: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm

4) ID Cards
All players who are on the roster of a team playing in the event must have a 2008 NPPL ID card
If you buy your ID card online before you attend the event, the cost is $40.00.
If you buy your ID card at the event, the cost is $50.00.

5) Spectators and Guests
There is no admission fee for spectators. There are 3 restricted areas which require specific wristbands:

1. Player paddock area (must be on team guest list for access, limit 4 per team)

2. Center Court Grandstands on Saturday and Sunday (Tickets may be purchased at www.NPPL.com or on-site while space permits)

3. VIP section (Tickets may be purchased at www.NPPL.com or on-site while space permits)

Grandstand Ticket Pricing:

Adult
Single Day: $10.00
Both Days: $15.00

Child under 12 and NPPL ID Card Holders
$5.00 per day, no additional discount given for a weekend pass

6) Pit Crew
A team may have up to 4 pit crew members on their roster.
Those pit crew members have access to the player paddocks
The cost is $10 per pit crew member

7) Parking
Parking is free to the players and public so no parking passes will be required. You can park off of Main Street in parking lot Yellow.

Games begin at 7:30 am and run until 7:00 pm
Teams competing are Semi-Pro, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, 5-man Division 3 and 5-man Division 4
Tradeshow open from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
3:00 pm Pro Captains Meeting in the Pro Staging Area

Saturday, Sept 20th, 2008
Divisional and Semi-Pro Games will run from 7:30 am - 7:00 pm

Live webcast on www.NPPL.com begins coverage at 10:00 am CDT (or earlier)

Professional Games will run on Center Court and JT Field from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tradeshow open from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Sunday, Sept 21st, 2008
Quarters, Semis and Finals for all divisions begin at 7:30 am
